General information only
The content of this site is patient education. It describes what sets the height of a nasal bridge, what can and cannot change it, and what treatment costs in recovery and risk. It is not a diagnosis, it is not a treatment recommendation for any individual, and it does not create a doctor-patient relationship.
No substitute for examination
Whether treatment is appropriate for you depends on findings that can only be established by examining you: what the bone and the cartilage contribute, how far the tip projects, how wide the base is, how the chin relates to the profile, what the skin over the bridge can tolerate, and whether there is any underlying condition. Reading this site cannot substitute for that, and a decision made from a website alone is a decision made without information.
Results vary and are not guaranteed
Individual results differ. Materials placed on a bridge behave differently over time, tissue taken from the body can be partly reabsorbed, and healing takes months. No surgeon, and no website, can guarantee an outcome, and any statement that appears to promise one should be treated with suspicion wherever you encounter it.
If something is wrong after treatment
If you have had treatment and develop rapidly increasing swelling, a tense painful area, spreading redness, fever, bleeding that does not stop, a change in breathing, a change in vision, or severe eye pain, contact the treating team or seek emergency care immediately rather than waiting to be seen at a routine appointment.
